I am very pleased with Michael's reeds - they are resonant but stable and not difficult to blow. I will definitely continue to order from Michael. I play in a number of semi-professional groups and need good reliable reeds.

These reeds are great!!! Im a college player, and I order about 4 at a time. My lesson teacher does sometimes do some scraping because some of the reeds can be flat.

Of the five slightly unfinished reeds I got from Mike all were playable (very nice, in fact) - allow five to six weeks for your order to arrive (so perhaps not an optimal choice in an emergency).

His reeds have pretty much been consistent.
I usually ask for "unfinished" so that it will last longer.
The good thing about ordering from him is that you get discounts for the staples.
