I am very pleased with Michael’s reeds – they are resonant but stable and not difficult to blow. I will definitely continue to order from Michael. I play in a number of semi-professional groups and need good reliable reeds.
These reeds are great!!! Im a college player, and I order about 4 at a time. My lesson teacher does sometimes do some scraping because some of the reeds can be flat.
Of the five slightly unfinished reeds I got from Mike all were playable (very nice, in fact) – allow five to six weeks for your order to arrive (so perhaps not an optimal choice in an emergency).
We have been ordering reeds from Michael for several years and they have been consistently good reeds. I providei my strong recommendation!
His reeds have pretty much been consistent.
I usually ask for “unfinished” so that it will last longer.
The good thing about ordering from him is that you get discounts for the staples.
